ich habe auch ein chromophobes RCC, wenn man dem Befund des Arztes Glauben schenken darf. Bei mir ist die Operation im vergangenen Oktober erfolgt, und man hat auch mir gesagt, dass ab jetzt eben nur mal 3-monatige Kontrollen fällig sind.
Der chromophobe Zelltyp ist anscheinend ein relativ harmloser. Folgende Info findet sich unter

Chromophobe RCC: This rare form of kidney cancer represents approximately 5% of RCC cases. This type of RCC is thought to arise from the same cell type as those that form renal oncocytomas (see below), the intercalated cell of the collecting duct. [...] Chromophobe RCC rarely metastasizes until very late in its clinical course, and surgical removal of localized or even locally advanced disease is usually associated with an excellent prognosis. Metastatic chromophobe renal cell carcinoma is quite rare, and no standard therapy currently exists
Langzeiterfahrungen mit der Harmlosigkeit hab ich allerdings auch noch nicht!
